Working Principles of Refrigeration System

  • The refrigeration system of the quick freezer is the core part of achieving rapid freezing of food. Its working principle is based on the compression refrigeration cycle, and it is mainly composed of four key components: compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator.

  • The compressor is like the "heart" of the refrigeration system. It absorbs the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant vapor from the evaporator and converts it into high-temperature and high-pressure vapor through mechanical compression, thereby increasing the energy and temperature of the refrigerant and creating conditions for subsequent heat release. The high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant vapor then enters the condenser.

  • The condenser is like a heat "release station", where the refrigerant exchanges heat with the external cooling medium (such as air or water), releases a large amount of heat, and gradually cools and condenses into a high-pressure liquid.

Functions of Refrigeration System

  • Temperature Regulation & Control
    Temperature Regulation & Control

A refrigeration system lowers and maintains the temperature of a target space by transferring heat from a low-temperature area to a high-temperature area using a refrigerant's phase change. Household refrigerators operate at 0 - 10°C, while commercial cold storage can reach ultra-low temperatures below -30°C.

  • Humidity Regulation
    Humidity Regulation

When the evaporator temperature drops below the air's dew point, water vapor condenses and is expelled, reducing humidity. This is crucial in dehumidifiers and air conditioning systems, especially in precision instrument rooms, to prevent rust and moisture damage to equipment.

  • Heat Transfer
    Heat Transfer

A refrigeration system transfers heat from a low-temperature area (like a refrigerator) to a high-temperature area (such as outdoor air). This process is used for cooling and can be reversed in heat pump systems to provide heating during winter.
