Thousands of high-speed air jets are aimed at both the top and bottom surfaces of the product as it travels along the conveyor of the freezer.
These air jets disrupt the layer of air that retains heat around the product, leading to remarkably quick freezing times.
The impingement tunnel freezer is especially suitable for the quick freezing of flat food: shrimp products, fish fillets, hamburger patties and other thin food, as the core advantages of the impingement freezer align perfectly with the freezing needs of such flat and thin ingredients.


High-Speed Airflow: The impingement freezer and mesh belt tunnel freezer leverage vertical high-speed impact airflow to significantly reduce freezing time, while the vertical plate freezer and horizontal plate freezer optimize heat transfer efficiency through their compact plate structure for comparable rapid freezing performance.
Surface Hardening: The surface of the food quickly hardens and forms a crust, effectively locking in internal moisture and minimizing moisture loss in frozen food.
Quality Preservation: Rapid freezing technology, a shared strength of the impingement freezer, mesh belt tunnel freezer, vertical plate freezer, and horizontal plate freezer, generates no large ice crystals. This maintains the food’s original quality as much as possible and keeps it fresh after thawing.
Efficient Space: Higher freezing efficiency reduces the required length and equipment space.
Frost Prevention: The fan is positioned on the 'dry side' of the evaporator to minimize frost formation and prolong continuous operation.
